LAMM AT LARGE: I believe in moral victories

Background
The media tell fans of higher-tier teams regardless of the sport there are no such things as moral victories.
I disagree. I’ve witnesses many moral victories during my career. I believe most fans have, too.
You can’t tell me most Gators don’t feel better about their team AFTER losing to Alabama than did after victories over FAU and South Florida.
After those first two victories against overmatched opponents, the Gator had every reason to worry, Florida needed the incredible play of backup QB Antony Richardson to win those games.
But they gave the Mighty Tide all it could handle without the injured Richardson. The Gators season looks much brighter now after a moral victory.
