Background

The Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Green Bay Packers at 1:00 p.m. EST on Sunday at EverBank Stadium.

Follow along here for live updates and key highlights from the game!

First quarter

The biggest play of the first quarter was Logan Cooke punting 72 yards to pin Green Bay on its own 2-yard line. It was the longest punt of Cooke’s career! The Jaguars have only gained 15 yards on offense, though, and while it’s still a tie game, the Packers have over 100 yards and are in the red zone to start the second quarter.

Second quarter

Jarrian Jones notched his first career interception to give Jacksonville possession, but Trevor Lawrence immediately threw a pick of his own. Josh Jacobs scored a 3-yard touchdown four plays later.

Jacksonville went three-and-out and Green Bay quickly got in scoring position after Tucker Kraft rumbled for a 67-yard catch-and-run. Former Jaguar Brandon McManus kicked a 31-yard field goal to extend the lead.

Lawrence decided enough was enough and put the team on his back — via a 33-yard pass to Christian Kirk and a 6-yard touchdown rush — to make it a one-score game.

Jacksonville got called for a defensive delay of game to give Green Bay a fresh set of downs with under two minutes to play. The Packers took advantage as McManus kicked a 38-yard field goal.

Lawrence got the Jaguars across midfield in a hurry — via a 23-yard pass to Parker Washington and a 28-yard pass to Brian Thomas Jr. — to set up a 39-yard field goal by Cam Little.

Third quarter

Both teams exchanged punts to start the second half before Lawrence found Thomas Jr. in the endzone for a 14-yard go-ahead touchdown! The rookie is legit, folks.

Malik Willis, who subbed in for an injured Jordan Love, scampered for 20 yards before Jacobs went for 38 on a touchdown run.

Fourth quarter

Lawrence was strip-sacked in opposing territory, and two plays later, Willis connected with Kraft for a 3-yard touchdown.

Jacksonville went three-and-out and Kirk hurt his shoulder. The Jaguars got the ball back quickly, though, and Little connected on a 47-yarder to make it a one-score game.

Jaguars 20, Packers 27

Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen met for a third-down sack in the backfield to give the Jaguars a shot to tie the game with 4 minutes remaining!
