Today, we’ll be focusing on offensive tackles in our “get to know the prospects” series.

Tyler Booker, Alabama

Consensus positional ranking: 1

Prospect bio: Booker was a four-star recruit out of IMG Academy and committed to Alabama. He played in 12 games as a freshman before becoming a starter as a sophomore. Booker earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2023 and 2024, and was also recognized as a first-team All-American and team captain in the latter season.

2024 stats: 10 pressures allowed, 0 sacks allowed, 66.5 overall PFF grade

Player comp: O’Cyrus Torrence


Donovan Jackson, Ohio State

Consensus positional ranking: 2

Prospect bio: Jackson was a five-star recruit out of Episcopal High School and committed to Ohio State. He played in all 13 games as a freshman before becoming a starter as a sophomore. Jackson was named a first-team All-Big Ten selection from 2022-24, and in his final season, he earned first-team All-American honors as he helped the Buckeyes capture the national championship.

2024 stats: 19 pressures allowed, 2 sacks allowed, 71.8 overall PFF grade

Player comp: Joshua Ezeudu


Grey Zabel, North Dakota State

Consensus positional ranking: 3

Prospect bio: Zabel was an unranked recruit out of T. F. Riggs High School and committed to North Dakota State. He spent his first two seasons as a backup before becoming a starter as a junior. Zabel earned first-team All-MVFC and first-team FCS All-American honors as a fifth-year senior, and he helped the Bison win FCS national championships in 2021 and 2024. 

2024 stats: 7 pressures allowed, 1 sack allowed, 90.4 overall PFF grade

Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona

Consensus positional ranking: 4

Prospect bio: Savaiinaea was a three-star recruit out of Saint Louis School and committed to Arizona. He started all 12 games as a freshman, and he earned an All-Pac-12 honorable mention as a sophomore and All-Big-12 honorable mention as a junior. 

2024 stats: 15 pressures allowed, 4 sacks allowed, 75.9 overall PFF grade

Player comp: Cordell Volson


Marcus Mbow, Purdue

Consensus positional ranking: 5

Prospect bio: Mbow was a three-star recruit out of Wauwatosa East High School and originally committed to Arizona State before switching to Purdue. He appeared in four games as a freshman before becoming a starter as a sophomore. Mbow missed roughly half of his junior season due to injury but returned to start every game as a senior. 

2024 stats: 25 pressures allowed, 3 sacks allowed, 73.0 overall PFF grade
