Welcome to the latest edition of “Gus’ Tiers” at 1010XL/92.5 FM!

For this week’s Tier, I ranked quarterbacks, which I thought would be an interesting exercise since Trevor Lawrence is expected to sign a contract extension any day now.

GOAT: Patrick Mahomes

Current MVP candidates: Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, C.J. Stroud, Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow

Future MVP candidates: Jordan Love, Anthony Richardson, Caleb Williams, Drake Maye

Upper-middle class: Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford, Geno Smith, Kyler Murray

System QBs: Kirk Cousins, Jared Goff, Jalen Hurts, Brock Purdy, Tua Tagovailoa

Bridge QBs: Jacoby Brissett, Baker Mayfield, Daniel Jones, Derek Carr, Russell Wilson, Sam Darnold, Gardner Minshew, Aiden O’Connell

Idk about that one chief: Bryce Young, Will Levis, Jayden Daniels, Michael Penix Jr., J.J. McCarthy, Bo Nix

“You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain”: Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson
