Background

The Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Tennessee Titans at 1:00 p.m. EST on Sunday at EverBank Stadium.

First quarter

Jacksonville received the first-half kickoff and trotted 38 yards in 9 plays to set up a 48-yard field goal by Cam Little.

Jaguars 3, Titans 0

Chad Muma committed pass interference and Andrew Wingard let Tyjae Spears around the right edge for a 23-yard gain, but Jacksonville’s defense stiffened and forced a punt. Travis Etienne moved the chains twice, and Jones scrambled for a first down himself, but Logan Cooke eventually came on to pin the Titans at their own 7-yard line.

Second quarter

Mason Rudolph almost got the Titans to midfield before a pass was deflected by Jordan Jefferson and hauled in by Devin Lloyd for a Jaguars interception! Thomas Jr. then picked up two gains of over 15 yards to set up an impressive 2-yard touchdown catch for Parker Washington to extend the lead!

Jaguars 10, Titans 0

After another Titans punt, Jones found Thomas Jr. down the sideline on a beautiful pitch-and-catch that set up a 44-yard field goal by Little.

Jaguars 13, Titans 0

Tennessee finally put together a scoring drive by getting into field goal range for a 39-yarder by Matthew Wright as the first-half clock expired.

Jaguars 13, Titans 3

Third quarter

Rudolph orchestrated an eight-minute, 85-yard drive to open the second half which ended with a wide-open 8-yard touchdown by Nick Vannett.

Jaguars 13, Titans 10

Fourth quarter

After both teams exchanged punts, the Jaguars got into the redzone and made it a two-score game thanks to who else but Thomas Jr.

Jaguars 20, Titans 10

The Titans put together another lengthy drive to make it a one-score game with a 28-yard field goal by Wright.

Jaguars 20, Titans 13

Tennessee made it interesting by forcing a Jaguars three-and-out and getting the ball past midfield with 30 seconds to go, but the home team held firm for its fourth win of the season.
