Jihaad Campbell, Alabama
Consensus positional ranking: 1
Prospect bio: Campbell was a five-star recruit out of IMG Academy and committed to Clemson as a 16-year-old before switching to Alabama. He had 1 tackle as a freshman, but he played in 26 of a possible 27 games over the next two years with 184 tackles in that span. Campbell led the Tide in tackles, tackles for loss, and sacks as a junior in 2024 to earn first-team All-SEC honors.
Prospect bio: Schwesinger was an unranked recruit out of Oaks Christian School and joined UCLA as a walk-on. After totaling 27 tackles in his first two seasons, he led all FBS players with 90 solo tackles (and led all Power Four players with 136 combined tackles) as a junior. Schwesinger received first-team All-Big Ten and first-team All-American recognition, and he was a finalist for the Butker Award for best linebacker in the country.
Prospect bio: Knight was a three-star recruit out of Strong Rock Christian School and committed to Georgia Tech, where he notched 51 combined tackles in four seasons. He transferred to Charlotte and ranked fifth in the AAC with 96 combined tackles in his first season, then transferred to South Carolina and ranked third in the SEC with 57 solo tackles as a sixth-year senior.
Prospect bio: Carter was a five-star recruit out of North Gwinnett High School and committed to Clemson. After recording 16 tackles and 0 sacks as a freshman, he had at least 60 tackles and 3.5 sacks in each of his next three seasons. Carter received second-team All-ACC honors in 2023 and first-team honors in 2024.
Prospect bio: Paul Jr. was a three-star recruit out of Crisp County High School and committed to Arkansas. He had 1 tackle as a freshman before notching over 60 tackles and multiple sacks in each of the next two seasons. Paul transferred to Ole Miss for his senior year and led the Rebels with 88 tackles to earn second-team All-SEC recognition.
