And that’s why I give the Jaguars a good chance to make the playoffs after watching their performance against the high-scoring Buffalo Bills, a 25-20 victory. In two games against the AFC’s two juggernauts, Kansas City and Buffalo, the Jaguars allowed a total of 37 points. You remember they lost 17-9 to KC.
Jacksonville likely will not have one defensive player voted to the Pro Bowl. That’ll be a misjustice. Well, maybe not because the Jaguars defense shines as a unit. The one flaw is a consistent pass rush although they put lots of pressure on QBs.
The real hero may be defensive coordinator Mike Caldwell.
