I’ve always regarded myself as an old-fashion journalist. I was taught if you were a reporter, you reported the facts. If you were a commentator, you gave your unfiltered opinion, not concerned with whose feelings you hurt or feathers you ruffled.I haven’t always been able to live up to those standards. I think back to FSU and Florida winning national football championship; to the news Jacksonville was getting an NFL franchise.And now you can add the Jaguars ending a 20-game losing streak. The way they did it . . . well no one would have never scripted it. By now, if you’re a Jaguars fan, you know the crazy, incredible finish.I know I’m still giddy, happy for beleaguered Jaguar fans, and glad the team is off this week so I’ve got another week to enjoy it.
