LAMM AT LARGE: It’s Been a Tough Go For The Jaguars

The defense gives up big plays. QB Trevor Lawrence starts playing more like Mr. Irrelevant than the No. 1 overall draft pick. There’s that occasional fumble or penalty.
It’s difficult to put your finger on one thing — because there isn’t one thing. Lawrence and the defense share equal billing. The coaches can’t be excused either. (Glad they didn’t mail Coach-of-Year trophy to Doug Pederson.)
Playing close games in the NFL is the norm, but who loses all of them? Can you said D-U-V-A-L, Duval?
