LAMM AT LARGE: No quick fix coming for Jaguars

Background
Baby steps. That’s what Jaguars fans should expect because there’s no quick fix.
Franchise QB-to-be Trevor Lawrence is going through the growing pains all highly drafted QBs go through with bad teams.
And this is a BAD team.
The receiver group, expected to be a strength, is not. DJ Chark can’t catch. Laviska Shenault is invisible. Thank goodness for Marvin Jones.  There are no tight ends in sight.
The OL is mediocre. The 2nd-tier defensive free agents the Jaguars signed because they  thought they were ascending aren’t.
Coach Urban Meyer is trying to learn the NFL.
The simple answer is, as my son Alex pointed out, the Jaguars don’t have many good players.
