The NFL likes to brag about parity, a topic Jaguars fans have poop-pooped.
The truth is the NFL is right. Sure, there are exceptions — whichever team Tom Brady is quarterbacking hovers on top and the Jaguars fighting the muck to escape the cellar.
The League seems more balanced now than ever. There have already been 18 games out of 48 this season decided by 3 points or less.
Another example: How do you explain the Jaguars shutting out the Colts, and then Colts beating the mighty Chiefs a week later?
But there are bigger ripples of change and it starts right here in Jacksonville. Beating the lowly-regarded Colts is one thing; traveling to LA and giving the highly-regarded Chargers a thorough ass-kicking, 38-10, is another.
For the second week in a row, the Jaguars were hitting on all cylinders and had the Chargers back peddling from the start.
Keep that parity in mind, but as long-suffering Jaguars fans let the celebrating begin.
