Lauren Brooks

Lauren is an extremely busy sports broadcaster at 1010 XL/92.5 FM. Lauren is a co-host on The Frangie Show and has been the lead host on Helmets & Heels since its inception in 2014. Lauren graduated from Bishop Kenny and the University of Florida, she loves living at the beach.

Taylor Doll

Taylor Doll was born in Jacksonville but spent much of her youth in Northwest Indiana where she grew up immersed in the Chicago sports scene spurred along by her grandfather’s fandom. After graduating from the University of South Florida, Taylor won an internship at 1010XL/92.5 FM, which she parlayed into her current responsibilities. These include hosting the station’s Local Sports Updates throughout the day, serving as Social Media Director for all accounts, and as Co-Host of Helmets & Heels on Tuesday evenings.

Mia O'Brien

Station Team

Mia O’Brien

Mia O’Brien first began appearing on 1010XL in February 2021, joining the staff full-time as the Director of Multimedia Production and On-Air Personality in April 2022. She previously worked as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at First Coast News. She covers any and everything sports here in Northeast Florida, from the Jacksonville Jaguars to the PGA Tour to college sports to prep sports. Before coming to the Sunshine State, Mia worked for three years at KGAN/KFXA in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, also as a Sports Anchor/Reporter. Mia had the opportunity to cover the Hawkeyes’ 2015 Rose Bowl season her first year in Iowa, as well as multiple NCAA Tournament’s (the highlight being Northern Iowa’s buzzer-beater win over Texas in 2016). Mia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College’s Park School of Communications in May 2015, where she served as Senior Class President and one of the lead on-air talent for Ithaca College Television and 92 WICB. She is originally from Freehold, New Jersey (can you name the other famous native?) and, no, it’s called Pork Roll, not Taylor Ham (much to her North Jersey-native parents’ chagrin).
