LAMM AT LARGE: What Can We Expect From Tiger?

todayMay 18, 2022

Background
It was a mini-miracle that Tiger Woods played in the Masters. He shock many in the golf world by making the cut. He surprised few when he faded quickly on the weekend with a pair of 78s.
Now we move on to the next major, the PGA Championship. Tiger’s back and saying the extra five weeks have allowed his seriously injured legs to get stronger. Golf commentators point out that Tulsa’s Southern Hills isn’t nearly as hilly as Augusta National.
So what are reasonable expectations from Tiger this week?
It’s still shocking he can compete. I, like many others, never expected him to tee it up again except for giggles golf and riding a cart.
Keep in mind the PGA field is much stronger and deeper than the Masters.
He can’t make the cut, can he? Surely he can’t  be competitive, can he?
Win? Are you absolutely crazy?
But let’s not forget this is Tiger Woods, who’s spent a lifetime surprising us.
